Crosspoint 3rd graders are responsible to collect paper, plastic, cardboard, glass, and aluminum from the
K-12 campus each week. Our students were able to increase recycling efforts in 2011 and decreased garbage
by 33%. The 3rd graders are currently working on developing a recycling training video for the middle school and
high school students. The purpose of the video is to educate the older students about recycling correctly. The
goal is to continue increasing the recycling efforts and decreasing the school waste that goes into the landfill.
